Aquapool Pool Wall Cleaner. Concentrated acid descaler.

The Acid Wall Cleaner Descaler Aquapool is a liquid product specially designed to remove severe incrustations, organic residues and mineral sediments that adhere to the surfaces of polyester and fiberglass pools. It comes in 1 liter and 5 liter presentations.

Applications:

In addition to its use in swimming pools, this cleaner can be used for general cleaning of painted surfaces, stoneware, plastics, among others. Its penetrating power facilitates the fast removal of rust stains and diverse dirt.

Form of use:

General cleaning of the cell housing of the pool basin: Apply the product pure or diluted with water, depending on the previous test and the nature of the incrustation. Spread it evenly on the walls and bottom of the pool. Let it act for approximately 30 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with water. If the incrustation is very severe, you can help the action of the product by rubbing with a brush. Use a non-fogging sprayer or a watering can to apply it.
Surface cleaning: Use the product pure or diluted in water at a ratio of 10-20%, depending on the type of dirt you want to remove. Apply the cleaner by spraying, flooding or soaking, and let it act for the necessary time.

It is important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and take precautions when handling this product, such as wearing protective gloves and avoiding contact with eyes and skin.

Cleaning empty pool walls: practical recommendation.

To avoid toxic acid fumes, we recommend never mixing the acid with another product, use it diluted, in a well ventilated environment and at a temperature below 25ºC.

Cleaning full pool walls: is it possible to use descaler?

No, the only way is intense brushing and a complete anti-algae treatment.

How to remove verdigris from the pool walls?

The best advice is prevention: using a winterizing tarp for the colder months prevents the accumulation of dirt. Once we have green algae in the pool, the only solution is brushing and superchlorination.
