Chlorine Multifunction 5 Effects Slow Dissolving Tablets Aquapool is a product in the form of 200 gram solid tablets. It is specially formulated to eliminate bacteria, viruses and microorganisms in general, prevent the development of algae and keep the pool water crystal clear.

This chlorine is copper-free and is suitable for use in liner, foil and fiber coatings, as long as there is no direct contact and it is dosed by means of floating dosing devices.

Dosing:

Initial treatment (spring start-up): Add 15 grams of Granular Chlorine Shock Aquapool per cubic meter (m3) of pool water. After 2 hours, adjust the pH of the water to between 7.2 and 7.6 using a liquid pH Reducer or liquid pH Booster.
Maintenance treatment: With the pH of the water adjusted, add 1 tablet of Compact 5 Actions Aquapool per 20 m3 of water every 7 to 10 days. Please note that these doses are approximate and can be adjusted according to the specific characteristics of your pool and climatic conditions.

It is important to repeat the initial treatment whenever a lack of transparency in the water is observed.

Insert the required tablets of Compact 5 Actions Aquapool into the skimmers (or better yet into floating tablet dosing units), and then run the filtration equipment so that the tablets dissolve as the water circulates through the skimmers.

It is essential that the entire volume of water in the pool be recirculated daily through the filtration system. The level of free residual chlorine in the water should be between 0.5 and 2 mg/l, which can be easily measured using a chlorine and pH test kit or Aquachek Yellow chlorine test strips. It is recommended that you check this at least twice a day.

Chlorine 5 effects Leroy Merlin vs. Chlorine 5 effects Aquapool which one is better?

Both are products based on a powerful disinfectant such as sinclosene between 80-90%. In both cases, they also use a similar clarifier. The difference is that the Leroy Merlin Chlorine quimicamp 5 effects (ref. 13002346) has Copper Sulfate in its formulation. Chlorine 5 effects Aquapool does not incorporate copper in its formulation. This is especially important in fiber and reinforced pvc liner pools, since copper sulfate can generate permanent stains in this type of pools.
