When should the electrodes of the Hayward salt chlorinator be replaced?
In general, the titanium electrode of the chlorinator usually gives a “low salt” signal even with correct salt measurement in the water. In addition, it has a lighter color than usual for titanium blades. If your chlorinator gives a low salt signal, measure the salinity level in your pool water, if it is higher than 4g/l, and the low salt signal persists, it is likely that you need to change the chlorinator cell.
