Compatible Spare part cell. Designed to respect the original technology of the first generation Sterilor® equipment, this Spare part uses the traditional system of perforated titanium grids (meshes), guaranteeing a chlorine production identical to the factory part.

This range covers many versions (HC, SC, PH, BH, PCC…), the surest way to get it right is to remove your current cell and count the number of grids (3, 4, 5 or 7).

Sterilor compatible cells are compatible with the following makes and models:

Total Compatibility: Direct replacement for Sterilor®, Enduro®, Pool Rite®, Steriblue® and Steriphor®.
This cell is also compatible with the “JD SEL PREMIUM”®.

Grate Technology: Titanium blades in 190 x 50 mm mesh/grid format.
Maintenance: NO Self-cleaning (fixed polarity). Requires periodic manual cleaning.
Salinity Required: Please note that these classic units operate with a higher than average salt level: 5 to 8 g/L.
Delivery: Electrode complete with integrated connection sleeve(électrode avec culot).

Replacing the cell in time prevents damage to the chlorinator power supply. If your chlorine production has dropped drastically or the “Low Salt” indicator lights up even though you have the correct salt, it’s time to change it.

The salt level reads 3.5 g/L, but I usually have my pool at 5 g/L. Is something wrong?

You must select the option “Models 200 / 210 Series (5 Grates)”. For years, Sterilor used exactly the same 5-grid cell for different Control boxes (HC200, SC210, NSC210, PH210, etc.). To be 100% sure, take out your current cell and count the titanium grids: if you have 5, this is your correct choice.

Is the cell difficult to install? Do I need a technician?

No, it is a very simple process. Just turn off the pump, close the stopcocks, unscrew the old cell, disconnect the wires and insert the new one. It is important that the terminals are tightened securely to prevent them from overheating.

Do I have to change the pool water to put in a new cell?

It is not necessary to change the water unless the level of Stabiliser or total salts (TDS) is excessively high. What is mandatory is to balance the pH between 7.2 and 7.4 before turning on the new cell, as the electrolysis process tends to naturally raise the pH.

I have read that these kits need more salt than normal. Is it true?

Yes, it is correct and very important. These classic Sterilor units are designed to operate with a salt concentration between 5 and 8 grams per liter (g/L). Be sure to measure and adjust the salt level of your pool before installing the new cell; otherwise, the machine may not produce enough chlorine or may error.
