This is a cell available in two options, electrode only or complete. The original Bio-Pool Spare part for the 90 m³ model (CLIP version). Whichever option you choose, you will enjoy the technology of 6 solid titanium blades. These Spare parts are high performance (~22 g/h), self-cleaning and guarantee crystal clear water in large pools operating with normal salt (5 – 6 g/L) and water volume up to 90 m³.

Electrode only: BIO-90CLIP-E6P_O

Internal spare part only (the black head with the flat blades). The plastic cell housing is not included. Choose this option if your clear cell housing is in good condition (not broken or leaking) and you only need to replace the worn part.

Complete Cell: BIO-90CLIP-C6P_O

Complete kit: Electrodes + New transparent cell housing + Nuts. Choose this option if your old cell housing is cracked, leaking, the thread is broken or the plastic is so white you can’t see inside. I would replace the entire old part with the new one.

This cell is the 6 solid blades version for large volume pools. is a high-end cell designed to last.

Is it better than the grate?

Yes. Solid blades are more robust and resistant to chemical corrosion. As the surfaces are smooth, the self-cleaning system (polarity reversal) is much more efficient at removing scale than in perforated grates, where sediments tend to remain more encrusted.

Is it difficult to install? Do I need a technician?

No, it is a very simple process. Just turn off the pump, close the stopcocks, unscrew the old cell, disconnect the wires and insert the new one. It is important that the terminals are tightened securely to prevent them from overheating.

Does it work with any brand of chlorinator?

Suitable for all brands that use the Bio-Pool standard (such as Capadoce or Onet) as long as the equipment is for 90m³. Do not attempt to install it in a 65m³ unit because the electronics will not be able to supply the power that these 6 long blades require.

Do I have to change the pool water to put in a new cell?

It is not necessary to change the water unless the level of Stabiliser or total salts (TDS) is excessively high. What is mandatory is to balance the pH between 7.2 and 7.4 before turning on the new cell, as the electrolysis process tends to naturally raise the pH.
