Salt chlorination electrode replacement parts are products with a limited service life. For this reason, once they have been installed—even if only for testing purposes—they cannot be returned. Also, keep in mind that you cannot install an electrode that is either smaller or larger than the one originally specified for the equipment, as it will not work. What is the swimming pool spare cell replacement for?

The replacement cell allows the salt chlorination equipment to continue to function properly when the original cell has reached the end of its useful life.

How often do I have to change the electrodes of the Idegis standard series cell?

The change will depend on several factors such as water quality, salinity index, frequency of polarity change, whether it has been properly maintained, whether it has been cleaned at least once a year etc. In general, well maintained, it is an electrode that should last between 5,000-7500 hours. At PoolComet we recommend removing the electrode from the chlorinator in the winter to improve the life of the chlorinator.

Does the Idegis Domotic electrode cell spare part include the cell housing?
