The cell of the Aquatronics By Innowater chlorinator can operate for 8,000,000 hours depending on the type of water, the amount of salt added at each cleaning and the frequency of polarity change. Unlike the AQT cell, the Innowater SMC cell can provide up to 14,000 hours of service life depending on water conditions and maintenance.
The AQT cell does not include the cell housing, cable or connection terminals.

The cell is designed with the best components currently available on the market, which allows a useful life of up to 8,000 hours under correct conditions of use. To maximize the life of the electrode, it is recommended to clean it periodically (to avoid lime scale), to maximize the change of polarity of the cell, and not to use it during the winter.
Salt chlorination electrode replacement parts are products with a limited service life. For this reason, once they have been installed—even if only for testing purposes—they cannot be returned. Also, keep in mind that you cannot install an electrode that is either smaller or larger than the one originally specified for the equipment, as it will not work.
