PH Reducer QP Minus PH Liquid
Less PH Liquid QP is a specific product to reduce the pH value of the pool water when it is above 7.6.
With a specially formulated liquid solution, it lowers the pH of the water and brings it to an optimum level. When the pH of the pool is above 7.6, this product acts quickly to restore the proper chemical balance.
Available in 5-10-20 Kg. container.
Properties:
- Appearance: Yellowish liquid.
- Odor: Characteristic to acid.
- Density: 1,110 – 1,140.
- Acid value: 380 – 420.
- % of hydrochloric acid: 25 – 27.
- Format: Liquid.
Directions for use and dosage:
- Add from 300 cc to 1 l per 50m3 of water volume and per tenth that you want to reduce, depending on the acidity demand, with the Pool filtration system running and in the absence of bathers.
- After half an ½ hour check the pH value and add another dose if necessary to adjust the pH to the desired value (7.2- 7.6). It is recommended to do the treatment in the evening.
In private pools:
- With the Pool filtration system running, carefully pour the prescribed doses into a bucket of water and spread it around the perimeter of the pool, taking care not to stain the edges.
In Commercial Pools:
- Inject it directly, by means of an appropriate pump, from its original container or diluted in water into the water return pipe coming out of the pool.
This dosage is indicative, as it depends on the characteristics of the water (hardness, pH, salt content, etc.). It is advisable to test and determine the precise dosage in each case. The pH value of the pool water should be between 7.2 – 7.6, so it is recommended to measure it daily for control.
