ApolloHub Kit 6 kWc

The ApolloHub 6 kWc kit is sized for pools up to 50 m³ with more powerful equipment, such as higher flow pumps and medium power heat pumps. It integrates a 6 kW hybrid inverter prepared to work with high voltage battery, which allows to increase the autonomy of the pool and the house.

What is included in the 6 kWc kit?

  • 12 bifacial solar panels of 500 Wc (6 kWc installed).
  • 6 kW hybrid inverter with two independent MPPT trackers.
  • Preconfigured DC and AC protection boxes.
  • Fixing kit for pitched roof (other systems available on request).

Recommended applications

Recommended for a technical hut with indicative consumptions such as:

  • Filtration pump ≈ 750 W.
  • Salt Chlorinator ≈ 100 W.
  • Swimming pool heat pump ≈ 2.8 kW.

Main technical data – Hybrid Inverter 6 kW

  • Rated output power: 6,000 W.
  • Maximum apparent power from mains: 6,600 VA.
  • Maximum efficiency: up to 97.6%.
  • Maximum PV input: 9,000 W.

Thanks to the larger photovoltaic field, this kit maximizes the annual production and is particularly interesting in homes where it is also desired to feed other consumptions (air conditioning, household appliances, etc.).

Frequently asked questions about ApolloHub PV kits

How does the system work with panels, inverter and battery?

Photovoltaic panels generate direct current from sunlight. The inverter converts it into alternating current usable by the pool and home equipment. When battery power is available, excess energy during peak sunshine hours is stored for later use, e.g. at night or during a power outage.

Do I always need a battery?

No, the battery is optional in the 6 kWc and 9 kWc kits. Without a battery, the system operates in direct self-consumption: solar production is used in real time when the pool is running. The battery increases the autonomy and the percentage of solar energy used.

Is the investment profitable?

Profitability depends on the price of electricity, the hours of sunshine in the area and the consumption profile. ApolloHub kits are sized to achieve an estimated return on investment of around 3 years, thanks to the reduction of the electricity bill associated with the pool and the use of surplus energy in the home.

What happens if I produce more than I consume?

If there is no battery, the surplus can be discharged to the grid (according to the regulations and the surplus compensation contract). With a battery, the system prioritizes storing surplus energy and releasing it later to maximize self-consumption.

Can I power the pool alone?

Yes, the system can be configured to be dedicated exclusively to the pool or integrated with the home’s main switchboard. Your installer will size the scheme according to your needs.

What is the useful life of the equipment?

As a guideline, the solar panels have a warranty of up to 25 years, the inverter has several years of manufacturer’s warranty and the battery, when installed, has an expected life of about 10 years, provided that the conditions of use and installation indicated by the manufacturer are respected.

How does the system with panels, inverter and Apollon battery work?

Photovoltaic panels generate direct current from sunlight. The inverter converts it into alternating current usable by the pool and home equipment. When battery power is available, excess energy during peak sunshine hours is stored for later use, e.g. at night or during a power outage.
