The ultra-fine dual-filter basket for the Beatbot Sora P7 and Sora 70 allows you to adjust the robot’s filtration to the type of debris in the pool. Its design combines an outer basket made of 400 µm coarse mesh with an inner filter made of 3 µm nonwoven fabric.
This two-stage filtration system helps capture both larger debris and fine dust, algae, and other ultrafine particles that can pass through a conventional filter basket.
400 µm external filter basket
The outer basket can be used on its own. It is particularly suitable for intensive initial cleanings, pools with a high buildup of debris, or situations where you want to reduce the risk of filter clogging.
3 µm nonwoven fabric internal filter
The internal filter provides ultra-fine filtration of 3 microns. Its design is intended to collect fine dust, algae, and very small particles that may remain suspended in the water or settle on the bottom of the pool.
The inner filter cannot be used on its own and must always be installed inside the outer filter basket.

Recommended service life
The recommended service life of the internal filter is approximately 40 cleaning cycles or about 150 hours of operation. Actual lifespan may vary depending on the amount and type of dirt, frequency of use, and maintenance performed.
It is recommended that you replace the filter when this limit is reached or when the nonwoven fabric remains visibly gray or stiff after washing.
It should also be replaced if you notice a general decrease in the robot’s ability to pick up dirt.
Maintenance Recommendations
After each cycle, remove the basket, discard any accumulated debris, and gently rinse both layers with clean water. Before reinstalling them, check that the outer mesh and the nonwoven fabric are free of damage, deformation, or blockages.
Regular cleaning helps maintain the Beatbot Sora P7’s suction power and filtration performance.
Important Information
The 3 µm inner filter must always be used together with the outer basket. Do not install or use the nonwoven fabric on its own.
Ultrafine filtration helps remove particles from the water, but it is not a substitute for the pool’s filtration system or for maintaining the disinfectant level and chemical balance of the water.
It does not prevent the “chimney effect” caused by flocculant powder or ultrafine particles.
