Rubi injected filter. Swimming pool filter.

The Ruby Filter is made of injected polyethylene, durable and corrosion resistant. The Rubi injection-molded polyethylene filter features a 6-way Side mount valve and a transparent lid.

It is a phased out filter that is being replaced by the Ciclon injected filter, with the same characteristics and performance.

The 6-way Side mount valve, model 500480N from Productos QP, allows you to control the water flow and perform different functions, such as filtering, flushing, backwashing, fast flushing, emptying and system shutdown.

The transparent lid is a convenient feature that allows for easier cleaning and backwashing of the sand. Since it is transparent, the cleaning process can be observed and it is possible to determine when rinsing or backwashing is necessary. This helps to keep the filter in optimal condition and ensures efficient performance.

The Rubi injected filter shares parts and design with the Ciclon QP injected filter.

Can I use filter glass in the Rubi filter?

Yes, indeed changing the sand to filter glass or AFM ng glass in your filter will improve the water quality of your pool.

How and when should I backwash the sand?

The filtration kit incorporates a pressure gauge. Regularly check the pressure of the filter, when it exceeds the safe zone (green), you should make a washing and rinsing of the filter to remove the dirt retained in it. The above ground pools kit PoolStyle incorporates an effective pressure gauge in the filter valve.

Can sand and glass be mixed?

It is not recommended, since it affects the retention capacity of the filtering glass, and the sand could be a contaminant medium for the glass, generating biofilm.
